She began studying singing and acting at age 11. At 19 she debuted on Broadway at the side of Rex Harrison in the 25 anniversary revival of  ‘My Fair Lady.’ She studied on a scholarship at the Julliard School, NY. She began her international career with the Zürich Opera. Critics praise her as a ‘first class Mozart singer’ and as an artist with ‘a magnetic presence and radiant voice, who always brings life on the stage.’ Ms. Refeld has appeared in the United Stetes, Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Spain, Italy and Japan in roles such as Susanna, Zerlina, Pamina, Ilia, Micaela, Marzelline und Gilda with conductors Sir Neville Marriner, Louis Langree, Friedemann Layer, John de Main, Kenneth Montgomery, Stefan Soltez, Andreas Delfs and Placido Domingo among others. She performs regularly in the Philharmonic Hall in Munich and appeared on television in the arts film ’Erotic Intelligence’. Her critically acclaimed one woman show ‘The Golden Years of Broadway’, a tribute to the great American composers is currently playing in Germany and in America.

“For me there is nothing more rewarding than working with young people to develop and express their musical and theatrical talents, in the process helping other children whose lives are less fortunate. This concept sets a healing circle in motion in which all children are winners. Music is one of the most powerful means of expression which knows no boundaries, no hate, no differences. It is the universal language which unites human beings. I feel blessed to spend my life in the performing arts and it is a privilege and great joy working creatively with children for the betterment of children.
